October 2019 it died stopped cooling in both refrigerator and the freezer water leaking out of the ice maker as the ice melted. Glad the Sears closed by me. It is only 1 and 1/2 years old. The compressor is supposed to be under warranty for 10 years, but I have heard complaints that there is $150 dollar service fee for the technician to come out and confirm the issue is the compressor. LG Center sent two technicians (costly) that misdiagnose after 2nd trip never came back & don't want them back. Your Kenmore 795 is made by LG, there have been many problems with the compressors failing, in fact there is a class action lawsuit for this problem. From everyone's comments it sounds like quite a hassle to try to get it repaired. Compressor should not fail after four years of basic household use. The agents sound very rehearsed and appear to experts at not solving your problems. Minimal amount has been offered for lost food, which doesn't even come close to what it actually costs.
